You've Decided to Put Yourself First!

I'm glad you are taking this decision seriously!  It's a big step to realize that you need to put your own mask on first in order to take better care of yourself and your loved ones.

For many of my clients, it wasn't easy to ask for help - especially from someone they met on the internet.  I want you to know it's very natural to be a little apprehensive.

I know exactly how you feel. For three years, anxiety controlled my life. Talk therapy and antidepressants were the first tools I used to manage my anxiety.

But it was mindfulness and yoga that helped me heal for good.

The techniques I learned keep me anchored in the present moment and I now accept myself for who I am.  I have become more relaxed and happy, and I believe these tools can do the same for you.​​​​​​​
I am a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher, trained in breathing, meditation and movement techniques. The yoga I have practiced for almost 20 years is about learning how to stay present in times of chaos in order to find a little space that helps us feel free and less anxious.  I am not a psychologist or psychiatrist.  
If you suffer from General Anxiety Disorder (GAD), social anxiety, specific phobias, panic disorders, or obsessive compulsive disorder, then I can absolutely help. If you have a manic-depressive illness, bipolar disorder, dissociative identity disorder, or suffer from extreme Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, I would encourage you to seek support from a mental health specialist.  And then, once feeling stabilized, check back with me on how to use mindfulness techniques in order to continue feeling grounded and calm.
